GOONUMBLA SOLAR FARM

FRV's 68.7MW solar farm in Parkes, NSW. The technology to be used is solar photovoltaic modules with a horizontal, single-axis tracking system.

At Goonumbla, recommended by the head contractor, Dawn partnered with the electrical works sub-contractor to deliver quality installation of high voltage (HV) cables ensuring installation was on time and within budget.

MANNUM SOLAR FARM (30MW)

Mannum Solar Farm is Canadian Solar's 30MW solar farm in Mannum, South Australia. This is a 2 stage project, stage 1 is 5MW consisting of 17,000 Canadian Solar Panels and Arctech single axis trackers. Stage 2 will expand the project to 30MW.

At Mannum, Dawn's highly skilled onsite construction management were rapidly deployed to extend management resources of the appointed electrical works contractor for the first stage (5MW) including installation, testing and commissioning of LV/HV cables, DC combiner boxes, supervision system, weather stations, communication system and IVS skid.

KNRG HEG DEVELOPMENT

Kinetic NRG is the designer and patent owner of an innovative new hydro turbine technology - the Hydrokinetic Energy Generator (HEG). The HEG pre-production model is currently being manufactured ready for verification trials and subsequent commercialisation.

Dawn's renewables consulting unit is working with Kinetic to provide business establishment and project development support including corporate due diligence, capital raising documentation and industry engagement.

NUBEENA RESIDENTIAL MICROGRID

Tasman Peninsula Power supported by the Tasmanian Government is working with Tasman Council to incorporate a residential microgrid into its new social housing development in Nubeena, Tasmania.
